In both PLANNER and FIELD sections, users can record Journal Entries via the 'Add Journal Entry' functionality. Currently, when users click on 'Add Journal Entry,' they have an option to record Safety Incidents on site.
Navigate to Mega Menu → Daily Settings -> Daily Time and Journal Settings
A new configuration option in Daily Settings now allows users to choose whether to include Safety Incidents as part of their Journal Entries.
- Label: "Report Safety Incident when creating new Journal Entry"
- Control: ON/OFF toggle, with the default set to ON.
When Enabled:
- Clicking 'Add Journal Entry' in either PLANNER or FIELD will open the Add Journal Entry form.
- As users scroll down, the setting "Was there a Safety Incident at site today" will be VISIBLE.
- The 'Notes' field will be disabled if the toggle is set to 'No' and enabled if set to 'Yes' (existing functionality).
- In the 'Daily Report,' the 'Journal Entry' grid will display two additional columns: 'Safety Incident' (Yes/No) and 'Notes' (existing functionality).
When Disabled:
- Clicking 'Add Journal Entry' in either PLANNER or FIELD will open the Add Journal Entry form.
- As users scroll down, the setting "Was there a Safety Incident at site today" will be HIDDEN.
- The 'Safety Incident' and 'Notes' columns will also be hidden in the 'Journal Entry' grid of the 'Daily Report'.
